Design and Analysis of a Knee Implant for Total Knee Arthroplasty
Amrita School of Engineering
Investigated the biomechanical characteristics of three baseplate rotational arrangement techniques in Total Knee Arthroplasty using high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) polymer composites. Identified the optimal rotational arrangement technique to reduce the incidence of TKA mechanical failure and improve implant longevity.
